Flood alerts the moment the official numbers move.
Manila Flood Monitor watches PAGASA's river gauges and dam bulletins across the Marikina watershed. When a level crosses an official threshold, your phone tells you what happened, where, and whether it reaches you.

Every alert states which reading, which rule, which time.

How it worksPaano ito gumagana
It does three things, and it shows its work for all of them.
-
It reads the official gauges
Binabasa nito ang opisyal na gauge
River levels and dam bulletins from PAGASA, plus the Upper Wawa spillway bulletins. Every raw response is archived, so any alert can be traced back to the exact page it came from.
-
It alerts on changes, not readings
Fixed rules and published thresholds decide what fires — a crossing or a change of state, never a routine number. If the data stops arriving, it says so, instead of showing a reassuring green screen.
-
It tells you what that means where you are
Pin your barangay and you get the level, the time it was read, and what to do next — with a clear label saying whether the warning is official or ours. Official severity is never softened.

Manila Flood Monitor is an experimental project — this website and the app both. It is not operated by PAGASA, the NDRRMC, the MMDA, or any local government unit, and it carries no endorsement from them.
It can be wrong, late, or silent. Sources go down. Gauges freeze. Never treat this as your only source of information about a flood.
Puwede itong magkamali, mahuli, o tumahimik.
Always check the official channels, and follow the instructions of your barangay, your LGU, and the authorities on the ground. When they say evacuate, evacuate — whatever any app tells you.
